New AdRem iTools 2007 ships with WinTools utility, which allows administrators to browse WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) information. Administrators can view hardware/software inventory on Windows machines, check services and processes running on them and browse through event log records. Users can also create custom WMI queries.
WinTools utility allows users to: - examine basic information about Windows machines - display and terminate processes running on the machine - perform system shutdown, log off or restart the local or remote Windows machine - view, start, stop and pause Windows services currently installed on the Windows machine - view Windows log files on the computer (Application, Security and System) - check hardware and software inventory on the Windows machines - explore all namespaces and WMI classes on the machine and create new queries for information on desktop systems, applications, and other components.
